Definitions

• "Savant" or "Software": The AI desktop application and any related services provided by Sisukas Ltd.
• "We," "Us," "Our": Sisukas Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom.
• "You," "Your": The individual or entity using Savant.
• "License": Your right to use Savant under these terms.
• "Account": The Savant account you create to sign in and access the service.
• "Credits": The prepaid units used to access cloud AI services through Savant.
• "Subscription": A recurring plan that grants a monthly or annual allotment of Credits.

License to Use Savant

Savant is free to download. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Savant on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and to maintaining an Account in good standing. During the current rollout, access is granted on an invite/approval basis.

Free Trial Credits

When your access request is approved, we add free trial Credits to your Account so you can evaluate Savant without a payment method. Trial Credits have no cash value and expire as stated in the app.

Subscriptions & Credits

Cloud AI features are powered by Credits. You can buy a monthly or annual Subscription that includes a Credit allotment, and purchase additional Credit top-ups at any time. Savant manages the underlying AI provider APIs on your behalf — you do not need to bring your own provider API keys. Local features (such as conversations, calendar, databases, documents, and local models via Ollama) do not consume Credits.

• Personal & Commercial Use: You may use Savant for personal or commercial purposes.
• Backup Copies: You may make backup copies of the software for archival purposes.

What You Cannot Do

You may not:

• Redistribute: Sell, rent, lease, distribute, or sublicense Savant to others.
• Reverse Engineer: Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Savant.
• Modify: Modify, adapt, alter, translate, or create derivative works of Savant.
• Share Accounts: Share your account credentials with others, or let others use your Account or Credits.
• Circumvent: Remove, alter, or circumvent any account, billing, or usage-metering mechanisms.
• Illegal Use: Use Savant for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes.

Software Updates and Upgrades

Included Updates

While your Subscription is active, you receive Savant updates at no additional cost. These include:

• Bug fixes and security patches
• Performance improvements
• New features and improvements
• Compatibility updates

Payment Terms

Pricing

Savant is offered on a subscription basis with prepaid Credits. Plans start at $19/month, with annual plans and one-time Credit top-ups also available. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. Prices may change; we'll give notice of changes that affect an active Subscription.

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Credit allotments are added at the start of each period; unused Credits roll over as described in the app, and top-up Credits do not expire.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel your Subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access to any remaining Credits until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments and purchased Credits are non-refundable. For billing questions, contact support@usesavant.com.

Your Data

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you create or input into Savant, including:

• Your conversations with AI models
• Projects and agents you create
• Any files or documents you work with

Data Storage

Savant stores your data locally on your device. We do not access, store, or process your conversations or project data on our servers.

Account Credentials

Your Savant login session, and any tokens for services you connect yourself (such as external or hosted MCP servers), are stored securely in your operating system's keychain. They are not transmitted to our servers except as needed to authenticate you and reconcile billing and usage.

Third-Party Services

Savant accesses third-party AI services (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI) on your behalf through our Credit system, and can connect to other services you choose to add. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of these third-party services.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Software Warranty

Savant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide reliable software, we cannot guarantee that Savant will be error-free or uninterrupted.

AI-Generated Content

Savant facilitates communication with AI models, but we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying and evaluating all AI outputs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sisukas Ltd's liability for any damages arising from your use of Savant is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Savant responsibly and lawfully. You may not use Savant to:

• Create, distribute, or facilitate harmful, illegal, or malicious content
• Violate the terms of service of integrated AI providers
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in activities that could harm our systems or other users

Termination

Termination by You

You may stop using Savant at any time. You can cancel your Subscription from your Account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your Account and license if you:

• Violate these terms of service
• Use Savant for illegal or harmful purposes
• Attempt to circumvent license restrictions

In case of termination for violation, no refund will be provided.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do:

• We'll post the updated terms on our website
• We'll update the "Last updated" date
• For material changes, we'll notify you via email
• Continued use of Savant after changes constitutes acceptance

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
